To be completely honest, we were a bit skeptical about what the Cherra Resort will be like when we set out from Guwahati to visit this scenic place. However, once we were here we were amazed by the warm hospitality, clean and serene environment and excellent food and service rendered by the courteous and friendly staff. The resort has been well maintained and the eagerness of Mr.Denis to promote the region and involve the local youth in his endeavour is highly commendable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would like to return some day. Wishing you success...

Amazing ….. Fantastic…..Wonderful…. I will go on and on…. Hats off to Mr.Denis & Team for accomplishing a mission that they have dreamed. Having established a resort in such a short period is an outstanding achievement. Keep up the good work.
These 3 days have been so wonderful for me and my wife here. We will be back here….. Of course, to complete the double decker root bridge trek.
All the Best……
With lots of LUV ‘N’ LUC.

Thank you very much for the wonderful hospitality & the lovely food. I wish you every hope and all success in the future, both for the resort and for the Khasi communities in the vicinity. It will be good to return in a couple of years and see how this venture has blossomed. Perhaps, I may do so with my wife, though I don’t know who she is.
Fondest Regards,

It’s been an incredible visit to this part of the world – unless you travel and see new places, you are not aware what each place has to offer. Cherrapunjee is definitely a very unique destination. The Cherra Resort ably provides every amenity required to make your stay comfortable, backed by well-cooked food, friendly staff and generous hosts.
It has been a pleasure to stay here and we shall definitely come back again.
Best Wishes and Thank You.

We had such a comfortable stay here and Cherrapunjee was an unexpected treat. The help the Denises gave us to organize our trek made everything easy. We loved it. Our children were happy at all hours.
Thank you so much.

What a wonderful discovery! We came for the day and ended up spending the night. Our gracious hosts worked overtime to get our room’s construction projects finished. A grand walk down many steps to a Living Root Bridge. An evening stroll through the village. A morning walk to a tea shop in Mawshamok watching the cloud bank over Bangladesh out one window and the sun filling the deep green gorge out the other window. Such peace and quiet except for the jungle birds. We’ll be back.

I am very pleased to have found this holiday resort, as I really didn’t want to stay in Shillong. Cherrapunjee Holiday Resort is one of the best locations I have ever visited in India.
It is especially encouraging to see that you cater for the nature lover.
Our stay here was very comfortable. The rooms are spacious and clean – which is all we were looking for. Food was Fantastic, with very generous portions.
At this point, I cannot fault you on your service and facilities. Keep up the good work!
I will definitely recommend you to our friends.
Thanking You.
