I found this one of the more comfortable and well run hotels in India. The service, ambience and accommodation are first rate. The surroundings are beyond compare!

What an Incredible Place. We had a fantastic time hiking through the forest and through villages on the way to and from the Living Root Bridges. Swimming in the pristine pools, connecting with the (very friendly) local people, and visiting the market in Cherrapunjee were all highlights. Our only complaints are that we had only clear skies (We wanted Rain!!!) and that we could not spend more time enjoying the wonderful hospitality.

All the Best.
Mr.Matt & Ms.Fabienne stayed with us for 5 days in a tent pitched by us at the Resort premises.

A good place to relax after ‘the hustle and bustle’ of India, excellent food, service, great natural sights and learnt a bit about a few things too.

This is a fantastic place to relax, unwind and catch up with reading or writing. And for the adventureous there’s always the root bridges. Well worth the effort. Or for the level(ish) jungle walk go through the graveyard and take small paths through jungle (ask Denis or Carmela). Both are very helpful and kindly hosts. Many, Many thanks. I will definitely return soon for some excellent company.
Ms. Melanie Horridge stayed with us for 2 weeks with plans to return for a week before leaving India for England.

During our stay we have been pleased with each and every thing presented to us. The rooms are excellent value for money, the food excellent as well, with only one (Chinese noodles) exception. The service prompt and friendly, with highly knowledgeable hosts.
In all, our expectations were met or exceeded on all points, why it is difficult to think of any suggestions for improvements.

What can I say? A great stay as always. Kind hosts, good food and excellent service. Will be back again, naturally.

This is Mr. Jan Pollak’s third visit to our place for three weeks plus (this time) since 2005.

A well conceived resort, that has its own charm. A place located in the best of the best of Cherrapunjee. Hope it stands the test of time.

We, a group of six friends from Dharwad in Karnataka – all senior citizens, were happy visitors to this abode of nature and alcove of peace & serenity. Its pristine beauty is amazing. The owners of the Resort were splendidly warm hosts.
I wish, God willing, to return for a longer stay and another soul satisfying rendezvous with the beautiful nature around here.
May God bless the owner-couple of this Resort.

Our second stay here at Cherra Resort. My daughter's decision to return and a wise one at that! Denis and Carmela, lovely Christian folk who really take care of their guests.

The trekking a challenge & so enjoyable. The open fire a delight in the night. The meals like true home cooking. The rooms comfortable and spacious & perfect for yoga & meditation.

Thanks once again. You are the perfect hosts.
