We are amazed by the environment & atmosphere here. This resort is ideal for anyone wishing to get away from the city life to relax, experience the surroundings and go trekking. We only spent 1 1/5 days here, but still we’ve had a great time. This place is very friendly & staff service minded. The only thing we’d wished be improved is the food. The menu is ok & the food too fat. Some more healthy alt. would be good.

We will definitely recommend this Resort! THANK YOU!

Thanks for getting a chance to stay in this remote location of East Khasi Hills. Holidaying amidst flora and fauna of nature in this state of clouds is a great experience.

Thank you for your well managed accommodation and well behaved staff. Scope for improvement is there. Although Meghalaya is not in shortage of electricity, Emergency genset is required; emergency lights can be provided in the room. Wishing you all success.

N.B. A Diesel Genset and Battery Inverter have since been installed as a standby power source. The inconvenience to the guests due to planned shut down of power supply by Electricity Board due to low water level in the Dam, is regretted. Now there should be no more inconvenience on this account.

We have never thought that this place can be so beautiful. After coming we have realized it. It’s a fantastic family holiday destination. Our feelings cannot be expressed in words. This 3 day memory will cherish me for the years to come. It’s like a home away from home and I have never seen my kids were so happy.

Finally, my special regards to Mr.Denis, who has made all these things possible.

With a promise that we will come again to ‘CHERRA RESORT’, we are leaving.

We came with very little expectations. As Sonali my wife mentioned, the 15 km drive down winding roads, scenic surroundings, wonderful messages on the walls painted every km or so – started setting the expectations.

The picture perfect location of your resort, overlooking the hills made us immediately feel at home – somewhere we could enjoy at peace & rest – our children 3 yr 3 month old twins – Ananya and Sukanya - climbed up the Tree house and never left swinging away.

Rooms were well appointed, cozy and clean. Service was exemplary, I think – very well trained. I checked out later some were trained in the Service Provider Business – a good practice – especially that local girls and boys are finding gainful employment.

We hope to come back soon and enjoy your resort. We will sure recommend Cherrapunjee Holiday Resort to all our friends. Good Luck & God Bless you for the wonderful work that you are doing.

Your resort has a wonderful location – so quiet and serene. The perfect place to unwind and reenergize after a hectic urban lifestyle. Very good for adventure tourists as well due to close proximity of the Living Root Bridge which is a unique experience in itself. Your rooms are very comfortable and cosy. Your staff is very courteous and well trained. Was hoping to find some continental cuisine as well in the menu. On the whole an excellent, memorable holiday. All the best!

It was a pure pleasure staying at Cherra. The scenic beauty is lovely. The bonfire with the singers was especially a wonderful experience. Our trip to the Living Root Bridge downhill was a real experience of nature at its best. And last but not the least was the hospitality offered to us at the Resort…..it was really warm, just the way you live in a family. Thanks to Mr.Rayen & his staff. We look forward to another trip.

We could not have asked for a more compact and all accommodating holiday of two nights. Mr.Rayen deserves all praise for his special touches of tourst map, band, guide and packed lunches! Thanks a lot and we hope to come again specially for the more challenging adventures!

It was an wonderful experience, and I realized why my friends recommend it particularly about Mr.Rayen who has made the place memorable with his personal touch in about everything in Cherra Resort.
