I must congratulate Mr.’ Denis’ for creating a ‘Menace’ in our hearts and it will be difficult to stay away from the resort for long! Mr. Denis and his wife have built up the resort in true spirit of Eco-tourism – imparting knowledge about locality – enabling us to enjoy the breathtaking views and savour the trails and the falls – and allowing the economic spin-off to reach the community. With all the best wishes.

This has been a very special stay – quite the most friendly welcome and extra special care. You have a lovely environment and we enjoyed our walks in this unspoilt area. Thank you to everyone at CHR for making this the most special time of our stay in India – Thanks for arranging for the rain to fall!!

So much rain in 24 hours! Never before seen, but what else to expect at world’s wettest place. Very nice and cozy accommodation, nice food, friendly staff. Thanks for making us rest, mostly Mother Nature for the downpour preventing any outing – complete relaxation.

It has been an amazing stay in this picturesque village in the midst of clouds! The hospitality and warmth of Denis & Carmela Rayen have indeed touched our hearts. Your endeavour to bring about awareness in the village folk is highly commendable. It was a lovely 25th anniversary spent. – Thanks a ton.

Enjoyed sampling “the wettest place on earth”. Enjoyed viewing the cascading waterfalls & pristine surroundings & May it stay that way. Also loved the gentle politeness of the Khasis here. Nice refuge to a bumpy ride! Breathtaking views.

“Heavenly” – that is how we felt. It’s really, really great place and we just loved everything about it – the resort, people, food, environment and everything. And specially, Mr. Denis – he’s such a nice and understanding person – a perfect gentleman! The few days that we spent were like a dream. And we do hope to dream this dream again and again.

Cherrapunjee is the right place to feel the real Monsoon. Here we meet nice and friendly people and we really enjoyed this place. Thank You.

I am chasing the Monsoon….as a photographer and it is a genuine challenge!… everything almost unpredictable. Here in Cherrapunjee, at last I find real monsoon! And I thank God. I am happy. But for so much rain, a proper umbrella is seriously needed. This place is the umbrella, the ideal “kunup”, never to be forgotten.

We visited here for covering living root bridges for T.V. documentary on air in Japan. We really appreciate all of villagers’ nice co-operation.
