A truly wonderful trekking trip – despite all the stairs to go down and climb up, the root bridges is truly spectacular – should be made a wonder of the world. – It is the first we have seen in all our travels all over the world. You have made our stay very comfortable & the service is good. The host and hostess we loved to meet. We can feel that they love this environment. Thank you for the music. We will be back soon!!

The breathtaking beauty of this place has been equally matched with your nice and homely resort. We had an unforgettable experience for the last two days. The food and service was much above our expectations. You have a great proactive staff, who are well trained. The trekking experience was also one of its kind. We would sincerely thank you for the services extended to us. We wish you the best in your endeavour of making this place one of the major tourist destinations in the country.

Despite of my previous entry on departure, when we saw beautiful scenery on the way to Cherrapunjee we realized that we can’t leave this nice area before completion of one or more serious trek. So we came back for two nights more and enjoyed a whole day trek. We went down the valley directly from the Resort and reached a very picturesque river. Then we followed the river downstream, did lot of jumps from stone to stone and also some swimming with our backpacks tied on our heads. We also did some easier climbing. We have seen not only fishes, birds, frogs and spiders, but also one couple of nice leopards. At the end of the day, we found very steep trek to the village on the top of the mountain. We happily completed this adventurous trip with headlights. All adventurous souls, please contact Mr. Denis for details. It’s definitely worth to go there. It was the best place in the first travel of India – It was excellent! Thanks for kind hospitality, Mr. Denis and his family.

It was an “experience” for the family. Our vacation was filled with the charm and hospitality of the staff members of the resort. I hope my children will come and visit this place with their family in future. I wish the members of Cherra Resort the best, and thank them profusely for the trip.

Jay Shree Krishna Dear Mr. Denis, First of all, I and my family members wish you thanks for the great hospitality you have provided. It must have been a tough job to collect all odds and create such a lovely place to stay. Everything was perfectly in order and we are surprised how you could single handedly manage such a great show. We wish you carry on the great job. We suggest you manage a playing hall type of thing with some games. May be latter on, as we are aware the way you have managed till now. Anyway, wish you all success in life. May the Almighty give you everything for that. We at Kolkata are ready to help you in your cause in any way you think proper. Thanks a Ton.

Thanks for your kind hospitality you & your entire people have extended to us. Our views & belief w.r.t. Meghalaya has changed after we have stepped in Cherrapunjee Holiday Resort. It’s simply out of this world. Nice to see that in India people still exist who are caring the nature & its surroundings by taking utmost care. Our family is extremely pleased by the kind of care, hospitality & welcome all of you have provided. May God bless all of you & Mr. Denis. may God also help you to fulfill your dreams at the earliest. Though we are very busy people of the plains, we will definitely encourage people to come to Cherrapunjee & to taste the rarest hospitality of the entire north-east of India. If you ever go to Calcutta, kindly drop in at our residence so that we will feel fortunate to welcome you. Once again words are not enough to describe the beauty & the hospitality of this place. My best wishes & regards to all of you at Cherrapunjee

We came on a whim & regretted very much we didn’t come sooner & spend some more time. A beautiful spot, friendly service, beautiful Khasi songs ….. What else I can say? Definitely a must-come-again place!

It was a moving and exhilarating experience here – moving because Denis, although belonging to place remote from Meghalaya has created this place keeping in mind the eco-system, the local populace and of course us tourists wanting to get away from the mad, mad world. I had told him yesterday over a glass of drinks and I reiterate it today – he will be a legend here in 20 years time. Congrats, & keep it up. God Bless!

This second visit to CHR has been another rewarding experience – an opportunity to meet new acquaintances. The sing-song session last evening was lovely under the canopy of stars. Hope to make more trips to your lovely resort again soon.
