Thank you to everyone at Cherrapunjee Holiday Resort for making us feel so welcome – we found an unexpected paradise here and wished so much we had come with more time to spend here – the Living Root Bridges are fantastic (despite getting lost, which just made it more interesting!!) Thank you very much for everything. It’s a lifetime experience. The place is very, very beautiful. It’s fantastic. This time whatever is left incomplete, next time we will complete it. The environment is very much homely including the food. The way I got treated for my injured leg, I’ll be grateful forever. I am not able to find words for what we feel. Definitely we’ll come back. To all, After spending 9 months now in India, we take our retreats where we can & here certainly soothed our souls. So peaceful friendly community & very comfortable and enjoyable stay. From Wales, I didn’t expect to find the connection I did here to my own country. I thank Denis for the excellent read “Through the Green Door” – an educated read. The staff, Denis & his wife are in the right business, ‘Excellent hospitality’. If I were to make one suggestion, it would be to cater for the ‘budget traveler’ like Nia & I, who would have stayed longer if we could have afforded it, supply a much cheaper room. Many thanks to you all. We take something away, very special from our stay here. Best of Luck & Fond Wishes.

This place was able to bring out the adventurous aspect within me. For us city dwellers, it’s indeed not an easy task going up and down the mountain slopes, but the trip to the Living Root Bridge was worth as it was an unique experience.
