Came here with our students from Geography Department, Cotton College. The visit was short but memorable. We were all one with nature. The trekking to the Living Root Bridge was thrilling yet so peaceful. A must for all. Efforts put in by Denis is commendable and we wish him success in all his endeavours to promote tourism in Meghalaya and in the bargain generating employment for the poor. Hats off to you. One needs to see to believe it.
We'll come back again and talk about it to all our friends. We are with you!
We talk but here is ACTION.
Thank you.

Every year when the monsoon comes in Dhaka - cloudy days, rain and rain, we start to miss Cherrapunjee. This has been our third visit to the Cherrapunjee Holiday Resort. Everyone in Dhaka asks us why we keep coming back to this place. We tell people that because amidst the nature we can forget about the world. It is so beautiful. And the kind of hospitality of Mr.Denis and the people of the Resort make the stay in Cherrapunjee more beautiful. And there is so much to see and explore. Each year we see something new, something more beautiful. We came for only two days this year. But we are leaving fulfilled with the joy of being one with nature. We had the most amazing and thrilling trek of our lives - to Umshiang (Double Decker Root Bridge). Also, the people living in the surrounding villages are so wonderful, so peaceful. We hope someday we will be able to manage a big holiday and spend a long time here.
God Bless Cherrapunjee, the Cherrapunjee Holiday Resort, Mr. & Mrs. Denis and all the people of Cherrapunjee.

This was our second visit to the Resort. In our first visit itself my 8 year old son fell in love with the place and we also loved it immensely. When we came back this time we were not disappointed. It was such a wonderful break from the ....(can't decipher) city life. The serenity of the place, idyllic surroundings and great hospitality of Mr.Denis and his staff will bring us here again, I'm sure.
Good wishes to all the people involved with the Resort. We would like to see you grow.

Shillong being my birthplace, I am always nostalgic about this place. Whenever I get a chance I come to Meghalaya along with my family. However, this is my first visit to the resort and I must admit that it is fascinating. The beautiful people like you and your staff will compel us to come again. It was a homely stay in this serene atmosphere. Thanks.

Rajinie was so happy, so free from all my worries. The bench showed me my very own heaven on earth. The walk in the village was a lesson for all. The vexing moon & the few stars may guide me back to its lap soon. I owe you all. Kochi, India

Dear Mr.Denis and staff at Cherra Resort,
Thank you very much for your welcome and hospitality. Building a resort here is a wonderful idea, it is so beautiful, serene, calm and peaceful. We loved the yellow signs that led up to the resort, it made the way here quite entertaining. The hike to the double root bridge was magnificient, although not the safest during this time of the year. Thank you though for encouraging us to visit those places. We had wonderful guides - Bah Edil & Bah Ris, they were wonderful, thoughtful and entertaining people. - we are thankful for the opportunity to get to know them. Please extend our wishes and gratitude to them. The food and service was so good. Your staff members are so helpful and warm. Please convey our gratitude to them as well. We wish you the very best, we hope that more people will come to know and appreciate this corner of the world. (Also thank you for your effort to keep this place so clean) Thank you very much.
P.S. Thank you also to the individuals who expressed concern over me being sick. That really helped me to feel at home.
